Abstract Format Guidelines
- An abstract is a concise summary of your research, highlighting its background, objectives, methodology, key findings, and conclusions.
- Write the abstract as a single paragraph, with a recommended word count of **200–250 words** to maintain clarity and focus.
- Avoid using subheadings, bullet points, numbered lists, or headers/footers within the abstract.
- Craft a **clear and descriptive title** that communicates the main focus of your research. Titles should be informative and highlight the significance of your study.
- Do not use abbreviations in the title. All abbreviations or acronyms should be spelled out the first time they appear in the text, followed by the abbreviation in parentheses.
- Scientific names of organisms or species must be italicized.
- Use standard scientific notation for measurements, including **negative exponents** (e.g., g·kgm-3) and avoid representing units as divisions (kg/m3).
- Chemical formulas should follow conventional formatting, for example, CaCO3 or H2O.
- Always include a zero before decimal points (e.g., 0.45 instead of .45) for precision and clarity.
- Ensure that the abstract is written in **professional, clear, and SEO-friendly language**, emphasizing keywords relevant to **nursing research, healthcare innovation, clinical practice, and global health studies**.
